Sales Representative - Edmonton

 

Our company provides aggregate materials for civil construction, road building and oil sands projects in a fast-paced, team orientated environment.  We require an energetic fulltime sales representative with the following qualities:

 

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Cost estimating and evaluating tenders
  • Preparing bids and proposal writing
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g. word, excel, outlook)
  • Familiarity with transportation and trucking logistics an asset
  • Enthusiastic professional with company first attitude 
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop and maintain client base
  • Seek out, identify and qualify new clients
  • Minimum 10 client calls per day (50 calls per week)
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Monitor and follow up on client quotations
  • Learn product information to identify further opportunities within client base
  • Find customer solutions including trucking and logistic relationships
  • Communicate effectively with field operations to coordinate and ensure excellent customer service

Reporting:

  • Work with VP and provide input to marketing and sales materials
  • Monitor, compile and report to VP on competitors
  • Work with A/R to ensure accounts are kept under 90 days
  • Maintain regular dashboard report on client contacts, follow ups and successes

Base salary plus commission with good benefits.
